The DAUREMA 48V - 16.8Ah - 814Wh - frame - BLACKSHELL78 bicycle battery is made up of 78 lithium-ion cells. It was specially designed to be placed on the frame of an electric bicycle.

It is supplied with a support that screws in place of the bike's water bottle holder. Its robust plastic shell, rounded at the front, allows it to fit onto most bike frames.

It is suitable for both classic bikes and cargo bikes, thanks to its large capacity.

Daurema attaches importance to the ecological and recyclable aspect of its batteries, but also to the long-term satisfaction of its customers. In this context, this battery, which is manufactured in the Daurema production unit, in Belgium, is repairable and reconditionable for life .

The capacity of the BLACKSHELL78 48V battery is 814Wh , which allows you to cycle approximately 130km on a full charge.

The BLACKSHELL78 48V battery is IP64 and resistant to splashes and light rain. We recommend adding the optional waterproof protective cover in case of rain.

The BLACKSHELL78 48V battery has the following connections:

The BLACKSHELL78 battery is easy to install. You must first position the support rail in place of the bike's water bottle holder. The controller can be inserted into the support.

Once the support is fixed, you must slide the battery onto the rail, then lock the anti-theft device with the locker.

To charge, simply connect the charger's Jack port.

The BLACKSHELL78 battery is compatible with all bicycles that have the following characteristics:

• Motorization: 48V
• Controller: 20A max, 5PIN Hailong discharge port, non-communicating
  

As a general rule, the battery will be compatible with any 48V bike that already has a battery with a Hailong brand shell.

The BLACKSHELL78 48V battery is equipped with a 4-light capacity indicator. Just press the indicator button to display the battery capacity: 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% or 100%.

An on/off button also allows you to turn the battery off or on. It is recommended to turn on the battery only when in use, in order to preserve battery capacity.

The BLACKSHELL78 48V battery is equipped with a key anti-theft system. Once the battery is inserted into the rail, the key lock prevents sliding, and therefore theft, of the battery.

A 48V - 4A charger , tested and certified, which does not overheat, is supplied with the battery. The charging time for a 599Wh battery is 4 hours .

Daurema uses sorted reused cells , at 95% capacity, in good condition, verified and tested, from used batteries, in order to manufacture this battery with guaranteed capacity . This recycling allows each lithium cell to be used for longer, avoids their premature crushing, and therefore reduces the quantity of greenhouse gases released by the battery.

The BLACKSHELL78 battery is repairable and reconditionable for half of its purchase price .

Its optimized interior design made up of 3D printed parts allows for safe and rapid repairability .
