Who are we ?
We are a team of engineers, electronics engineers, technicians, and designers, all passionate, united by our commitment to sustainable development and technological innovation. Our project was born from a desire to respond to current environmental challenges and to provide concrete solutions in the sector of batteries for electric bicycles and homes .
The “ Daŭrema ” project was born in 2021 and means “sustainable” in Esperanto. Through its meaning, this Daurema brand therefore represents the DNA of our company and reflects the state of mind of our teams.
Why this project?
We created this project to reduce the environmental impact in the recycling of electric bicycle batteries . To date, the vast majority of bicycle batteries sent for recycling are dismantled, and their lithium cells crushed, for high energy costs and CO2 emissions.
By reusing around 70% of the lithium cells from used bicycle batteries , Daurema therefore creates a short recycling circuit, emitting very little C02, and produces batteries with performance equal to new batteries .
We hope to inspire other battery manufacturing companies in this approach.
